New Verizon Message+ App, Contact showing up in blue font...

I have two contacts on my phone, my aunt and my wife, and their names show up in blue.

They are the only two people who show "chat" instead of "sms" when I send messages to them.

Whenever they text me the popup notification shows their name three times! And there is no avatar for them in the popup but the actual app has the avatar.

So i get a text from my aunt and the popup notification will say

Aunt, Aunt,
From: Aunt

.... I have a samsung s7 edge. So does my wife! My wife is also having this issue but the I am only person in her contact that has the "Sean, Sean FROM: Sean" issue and the blue contact name.

Samsung s7 edge. Both have android version 6.0.1

Both have the Verizon Message+ App 6.4.4

From the research I've done, all my Blue contacts are people on Android AND Verizon. I know that only one of them uses Message+. For some reason none of our tests have gone through as "chats" however I've recently disabled that option in settings.
Try changing the setting, it's in advanced. Then restart a new chat with them and see if it helps.

Did this solve your problem? I cannot find the setting you mentioned. Plus I found that the history of our texts in the contact is not there either.
