Weird history

My wife's search history shows she is watching porn but when I ask her she says it isn't her and it must be a device that is synced, is that possible. I've checked her tablet and it's not there

Does she have a different device that is synced to her account that someone else has access to? If so, securing that account would be smart. It could be that it is hers and she's embarrassed, but there are scenarios where an unsavvy person could remain logged in to a public computer, as an example. She can log into her search history on her account and see which device asked for the search and go from there. But even if it is her search, not sure it would matter. I'm assuming she's an adult.

Yeah she's an adult awhile back she took her tablet back to the shop and got a new one and she said that what it is but her new tablet and phone are linked and it's on her phone but not on the tablet

She should go into her Google account security and ensure that her old tablet isn't still active on her account.

Do this sooner not later to protect her privacy.

Exactly, and there can also view which devices accessed which sites and when.
