I replaced the rear camera, daughter board and battery on my HTC One M8 and when trying to reboot I cant get it to fire up. I place it on charge with the HTC wall charger and a USB cable that I have been using to charge it for months.
When I plug in the charger the orange charge light illuminates for about a second then the battery symbol with lighting bolt in the middle shows on screen, orange light cycles on and off at same time. This sequence of the orange light and battery symbol just cycles endlessly with out changing. Normally the battery symbol would start showing green charging bars but not now.
I have tried a number of reboot button pressing sequences but nothing seems to be working.
Any ideas on cause and fix would be greatly appreciated.
