If I use a voice command to play music (e.g., OK google, play album Core by Stone Temple Pilots) I get a notification that 'downloaded only' is being disabled. This results in Play Music streaming the album from the cloud rather than using the local copy. I confirmed this by putting my phone into airplane mode as soon as the music starts, then trying to skip songs. It fails. I don't understand why this is happening, considering that used the Play Music app to download all my music from the cloud.
I mostly listen to music while driving, so voice commands are a must have feature, but I'm annoyed with constantly using up my data quota to stream music that is already locally available.
Can anyone suggest how to fix this, or recommend a music player that can accept voice commands for playing local music?
