My Samsung Mega 6's screen locks up.

Hello,
I have had a Samsung Mega 6 for some time and the screen is freezing up.
On several occasions I have had to take out the battery in order to get my phone working again. Unfortunately, this does not last long.
It tried factor defaulting it, which worked for about 3-4 hours, then the problem re-occurs.
Has any one experienced this? If so, does anyone have a solution.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. How to turn on safe mode on Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9200

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
