    My phone requires the keyboard to type in my password, so I can't unlock my phone at all. I've tried restarting it and turning it on and off. I can't connect a keyboard to my phone because it needs approval, which I can't access since I can't unlock my phone. Please help me! My phone isn't backed up, so all my important files will be erased if I try a factory reset.

    Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean that an external keyboard requires approval? I thought connecting a USB keyboard via OTG cable was immediate (assuming the device supports OTG).
