Stop Facebook Messenger Camera from activating on refresh or dragging down notifications

[AC Question]

Just recently, if Facebook Messenger is open and I try to drag down to read my notifications, it starts the freaking camera. Anyone know how to turn this off? I'll turn on my camera if I want it, I don't want it firing up every time I check notifications!

Deny access to camera by the app.
