Can't log in to my Pixel C

[AC Question]

This morning when I tried to log in to my Pixel C, i got a "Wrong Password" message. I tried several times, knowing the password was correct, an continued to get the same message. I powered down the device an restarted it. The password was accepted to start Android, but once again failed when it came to logging into the device. Any thoughts?
