At my home screen of my Tab S 10.2", if I pull down the top menu and select "WiFi" the icon stays a dull green (not the usual bright green). In Settings / WiFi it is showing "Off." If I try to select it "On" there is no change. It says in the right panel "Smart network switch - This feature is disabled because no SIM card has been inserted." It looks as though my WiFi has failed in the Tab S and it then tries to use a SIM card connection but because there isn't one it hung there. Is there anything else I can do to test this out before taking it for a service/fix to a dealer?

Have you restarted the tablet? Have you tried starting it in Safe mode? Have you tried enabling airplane mode, then turning wifi on?
