Can I know why my device is "unsupported" on Google Play?

On Google Play, some apps are not allowed to be installed, as they say my device is unsupported. I was wondering if there was a way to get to know what the specific reason is behind each app and each device they supposedly don't work on?

The reason this bugs me now is that Google's Contacts app reported this message for my Huawei P8 Lite running Android 6.0, which I think is absurd... A Contacts app shouldn't have that strong of dependencies, and I don't think Android 6.0 should be too old to support. After all, I already installed it from an independent APK, and it works just fine... So I'm really wondering what the original reasoning was behind reporting my device as unsupported.

Welcome. :)

See this, from the app description:

Welcome to Android Central! I'm afraid there isn't any easy way to know exactly why an app isn't considered compatible with a specific device unless you email the developer and hopefully get some helpful response from them.
