I'm using a MMS restore app to transfer to a new LG phone. The messages have an incorrect timestamp - it's using the restore time rather than the actual message time.

Is there an app to fix this issue, or a method to import MMS messages properly without rooting? Thanks

I've tried using the same app to backup & restore. I've tried a few apps and they all have the same issue, they import the photos, but use the imported time (not the actual time they were sent/received)

Someone has a rooted solution, but i want a non-root solution if possible: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...stamp-t2844788
