I have tried countless numbers of times both wiping the cache and doing factory resets with still no luck.

My guess is that the firmware got corrupted somehow. What was the app you installed that you suspected caused this?

I'm not sure if you can re-flash the firmware easily. The forums at XDA-developers.com are a good resource for this kind of thing. Good luck!

Do you think that a computer store could fix it?

I suspect they'd probably recommend replacing the motherboard, which might cost as much as getting a new tablet.

ALright no problem, thanks anyway, I went ahead and bought a new phone instead as it was cheaper then rebuying the tablet, also I was wondering is Blu advance 5.5 a good phone? I have a couple people who have it and have reccomended it good.

From what I've seen and heard, Blu makes pretty decent devices for the price. Not sure about overall quality control, though.

Alright and would you advise I root it or flash a custom rom?

It depends on what you want to do with the phone. If it does what you want it to do, then rooting isn't necessary. If you like tinkering and modifying how the phone behaves at a system level, then it may be worth doing, if you have enough experience with the process.
