Hello I recently purchased a Samsung S4 and a Nexus 5 from FreedomPop. Their service is absolutely horrible as every day there is some issue and I have to manually update the messaging app. To top that off I've had these phones which I paid for outright almost $200 plus an additional $80 in data and international calling. I try to return these phones and get my money back as I have yet to been able to make one single phone call outside of the home on Wi-Fi period I want to remove this bloatware and jump on a prepaid sim from Sprint. Please help thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you been with them for at least 6 months? It looks like you have to wait that long before you can try to unlock it and use it with another Sprint MVNO. https://support.freedompop.com/app/a...asing-my-phone

How long does it take for Freedompop to release the phone and how do you know when it has been released.
I just got a GS4 too and asked for it to be released so I'm waiting. Only 24 hours now.
But I still have all the freedompop apps and logins etc on the phone and of course their SIM is still in there.
And it keeps asking me to assign/pick a phone # for my account but I don't have one. So there is still something to be removed in my opinion. I've read that some people have just flashed the phone with the basic Samsung software to get rid of it, but that seems excessive to me.

Contact FreedomPop, they should be able to give you a status
