I have a Samsung S5 G901F on EE which has a lot of Apps that are of no interest unless you want to live in your phone 24-7 and do not have a life. I am not sure if these apps come just with the phone from Samsung or, if in fact a lot come courtesy of Google. It is very unreasonable that these Apps are just foisted on us regardless of whether we want them. I would prefer in any event with Apps to have an opt-in rather than an incomplete opt-out as, even disabling still means that lots of space is taken up by these ridiculous apps as many cannot be uninstalled. Why is there no lobby to get phone companies and Google to stop loading up phones with a lot of rubbish?

You could start such a lobby. You'd be up against the financial interests of big business. Most of the apps that you mean probably come from manufacturers and carriers.
