remove gmail from galaxy

Hello, I havent seemed to locate the specific answer so I have 2 google accounts on my work phone, and my 9 year old son has 2 google accounts on his cell phone, mine and his. He has said "dad I see your searches you do on your phone on mine" not that I have anything to hide but I'd rather he not see my searches on his phone. I want to delete my personal google account on my work phone. Will I still be able to access said gmail account on a laptop? Or my personal phone? When the warning says you will lose everything, it seems "you will lose everything"! Is it just everything on that phone speciffically?

Why does he need to have your account on his phone? If you delete that account from your device and access it from another one, they will still synch to his phone anyway...
