AC Question

As any have issues with their LG G Stylo screen grey and fading and is there a way to fix it? I've restarted the phone and shut it off and still the same.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28142

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.

Very simple fix. I discovered I had accidentally turned on "Reader Mode" in my display settings. Turning Reader Mode Off fixed it. Everything is in color again.

This is a problem with LG Stylo and has been for awhile. I'm sure they know it by now it's in the hardware or firmware that comes with the phone. They should have discontinued this problem or fixed the phone but they haven't. Instead they keep selling them like they are. Really disappoints me because i used to really like LG phones.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you referring to the original Stylo, or one of the subsequent generations? It's tricky to understand the issue since the OP never came back to respond, and the next person who replied in this thread was referring to Reader Mode.
