Having a shutdown issue

[AC Question]

My Note 8 will shutdown for no apparent reason. It could take hours or up to a day, but it will come back up on its own without me touching it. This is sporadic and driving me crazy. I have already done a factory reset once. Could this be a battery issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about a Note 8.0 tablet? It sounds like it could be a battery issue, or perhaps a problem with the Power button. When you say it will come back up on its own, does it seem like it's cold booting, or like it just woke up from sleep?
