How did I accidentally combine 4 similar photos into one moving one?

I took 4 similar images and now there is a 5th image next to them in my Gallery. This 5th image has a stamp on it showing multiple stacked images and a play symbol. When I open the picture, there are 2 buttons on it. One plays the images together and the other controls the speed. It's great, but how do I recreate it?!?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about the stock Gallery app, or the Google Photos app? Google Photos has a setting for Creations, where it will automatically create collages, photos with special effects, and also mini-animations out of your photos. You can create your own by opening Google Photos, tapping Assistant at the bottom, then Animation.
