How do i restore built in ringtones and text message notification sounds on my Kyocera

I somehow deleted built in ringtones and dont get any sound when incoming text message come through

Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone rooted? If not, you can't have deleted them yourself.

If you go to Settings>Sound and look for the notification or ringtone settings, do you get presented with a list of the preinstalled tones? If so, what happens if you select one -- do you get a sample of it?
