I have lost my home screen weather and clock by swiping up how do I recover please

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean "by swiping up"? Did you long-press the widget, and then drag it up to the Remove or garbage can icon at the top of the screen?

Long-press any empty part of the homescreen, then tap Add Widget, and look for that weather/clock widget. Long-press it, and then drag it back to the homescreen.
