Last fall I upgraded my S5 to a S7. At that time I was able to transfer files from my Samsung Tablet 2014 10.1 (lollipop 5.1.1) to the S7 using Wi-Fi direct. My S7 (AT&T) recently upgraded to Nougat and now I am no longer able to establish a Wi-Fi direct connection between the two devices.
Now the two devices never seem to acknowledge each other. Though I can enable a hotspot on the S7 and the Tablet 10.1 can connect to that. But when I try to send a file using Wi-Fi Direct I get a message on the S7 that it is turning off the hotspot because the S7 can't do both at the same time.
