Can't update pre-installled facebook.

I own a HTC 10 and it had facebook pre-installed on it, everytime I try to open the app it asks for update and after that "Installing" starts, few seconds later it's says "Sorry, please try again". I tried to update throw Google play and it said error 505, please try again

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.
