Which phone?
Which version of android?
Which carrier?
The standard Android clipboard holds only one object. New objects replace the old. The only commands available are cut, copy, and paste. These are normally accessed by long-pressing an object.
Some EOMs install a multiple-object clipboard on their phones. LG goes this for some phones, Samsung used to but not so much now.
Third-party services can be downloaded from the Play Store to give you multiple-object clipboards and an app to choose the clipboard.
