Best way to view/convert lots of .mov files? I'm coming from iPhone.

Hey guys, new Android user here. I have figured most everything out, but I do have a question. I have moved a lot of old pics/vids onto the phone (Moto Z Force Droid) via SD card. The only way I have found to view the videos is VLC player. Are there any other ways? Ideally I would like to keep the pics/vids in the same place. If not, what is the easiest way to convert a lot of MOV files to something else?

Most likely the easiest way to do the bulk conversion is to copy the MOV files to your computer, convert them there, then copy the MP4 files to your phone's SD card.

If you are looking for a single app that does pictures and movies, I don't know of any but admit I have not looked for any.
