removing android 6 update from my Samsung J5

[AC Question]

I cleared the decks on my J5 to accommodate the update, which then downloaded. Now it will not install unless it is granted another chunk of memory which it can ill afford. I wish to remove the update, how can I do this simply? Will I need to do factory reset?

Welcome to Android Central! Did it download via an official over-the-air push? Or did you manually download the file from a website?
