    Welcome to Android Central! Which LG phone? Where did you take it in? If the battery failed, you could look into getting it replaced. If the motherboard died, though, then you're out of luck. This is why it's important to keep important data backed up or synced on a regular basis. Google Photos backup is highly recommended: https://support.google.com/photos/an...DAndroid&hl=en

    Did the phone have an SD card? If so, you could try taking the card out and inserting it into your computer, then using Windows Explorer to see if those photos were being saved to the SD card by default, instead of internal storage.
