Why won't my S7 upgrade to Nougat.

I bought an unlocked S7 from Kogan. It is currently running Android 6.0.1. However, when I check for updates it says the phone is up to date. This is driving me crazy!

Go to sammobile, search software, type in model number and you'll get the latest version.

If the phone isn't currently registered with the carrier it was originally registered with, it may not get an update - the original carrier no longer has the phone listed, and the new carrier doesn't carry the old carrier's updates.
