How can I downgrade back to Marshmallow from Nougat on my S7 with a Mac?

Just did the system update on my S7 to Nougat, and me no likey... I would like to simply go back to Marshmallow 6.0.1. Everything I have read online so far tells me to download ODIN 3. something and then download the stock com for my phones and then use ODIN. But I'm finding that ODIN is PC based and not for Mac, which is what I have.

Apple and Android don't play well together. You're better just to go to a phone shop and have them do it...

I do believe Samsung has all the tools available for both Mac and PC, just need to make sure you use the Mac version of Odin when directed to download that app in the directions.

Doing this WILL wipe the device, make sure you have a backup of your stuff.

It appears this guide links only to the Windows version of Odin.
