Does the motto e have a front camera? If so where is the switch around button? If not, what is the double lens things in the top left side of the front face by the speaker?

Welcome to Android Central! Which generation of Moto E? Are you using the stock Camera app, or a 3rd party one?

Does this support page help? https://motorola-global-portal.custh...p/30,6720,9299

That one does not. The things you're referring to may be ambient light or proximity sensors.

It so happens that I'm testing a Moto E for someone at the moment. Given its price and specs, it performs well. The camera is not as bad as some reviewers say, but there is only a rear camera, fixed focus, and no flash. (One reviewer complained that the camera repeatedly failed to focus on a close subject, presumably not having checked the basic fact that the focus is fixed. Faulty phone? No. Faulty reviewer? Yes.)
I like the E, but wish that it had more than 4GB of storage.
The Moto E (2014) forum is the one for you.
