Data lost after reboot system now

I used the reboot system now option on my galaxy s6 edge, and all my data excluding verizon backup was lost. I didn't do a factory reset, is there any way I can get this data back?

It shouldn't have deleted your data if you only did the reboot system option. Most likely there is no way to get that data back.

It is weird indeed, but you can try an Android data recovery app as a final resort. Root is needed though.
