Pardon my technical literacy. Would you suggest any particular phone for the casual user, lacking knowledge of proper file maneuvers and download habits? I am one who uses apps and search engines regularly, saving videos/pics and low-memory documents, but disoragnized as far as storage.

I have a few counter questions. Is price an issue? What storage size is your current phone? Is that adequate?

I am not sure what you mean by disorganized though.

In my opinion, you cannot go wrong with a Samsung device. Do you use any/a lot of apps? You mentioned pictures - Samsung has a great camera! That seems to be a constant in each iteration. How large is the phone you have now? Do you like having the latest and greatest device, or are you looking to save some money? The S5 is a great device and is pretty inexpensive now, as far as I know.
