When will Samsung correct SD problem since Nougat update - Verizon?

Someone at Samsung told me there is a problem since the Nougat update on Verizon for transferring anything to my SD card. She said I could go to Best Buy where they can provide technical help. I don't have a Best Buy near me. Or I can wait for a Samsung update to correct the SD card problem with an update. Can someone at Samsung confirm this problem. Also, when will there be an update to correct it?
