I was wondering if there is an easy way to transfer all of my old music from my galaxy s4 onto my galaxy s7?

Assuming that your old music is in MP3 files (or other common types) that are transportable (not controlled by your music streaming app), then copying them is quite simple:

Attach the old phone to your computer.
On the phone, unlock the security screen and accept the connection from the computer.
Create a folder on the computer to hold your transferred music.
Copy the music files from the phone to the computer into that folder using the file browser on the computer.
Disconnect the old phone.
Connect the new phone.
On the phone, unlock the security screen and accept the connection from the computer.
Copy the music files from the computer to the new phone, preferably onto the micro SD card.
