After getting exposed to rain my Galaxy Note 4 has a dark screen

AC Question

If I try to boot my Galaxy Note 4, after pressing the power switch I feel the vibrate and after sometime it plays the jingle. I see a blue notification light but the screen is completely dark. I tried soaking the phone in 99% isopropyl alcohol and drying it. Still nothing. How do I check if my LED display has gone bad or is it something else which is causing the screen to stay dark. I tried booting it in safe mode and in recovery mode. But nothing worked. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Does the phone have any cracks in the screen or body? If so, moisture could have entered the phone and caused the screen to fail. Since it still happens in Safe Mode and Recovery, the screen is dead -- bring it to a repair shop for replacement.
