Lots of static when connected to my car through an AUX cable.

[AC Question]

Whenever I connect my Pixel to my car through an AUX cable, there is lots of static. The static only occurs when music is being played and I can only hear it at medium to high volumes.

It is not my cable because I have tried different ones
The static does not occur when an Iphone is playing music
The phone is not charging

Google support was no help, has anyone else had this issue?
