Memo saved, ended up not being saved.

[AC Question]

On my LG V10, I was writing a memo using the Quick Memo Plus app. I typed for about ten minutes and then hit the check mark. after that, it showed a "saved" icon near the bottom and then exited the app. A quick check to see where the file was on the app and it was Gone! No where to be found. any help and advice on where to look would help. please let me know if you need more info.

Welcome to Android Central! Does the app allow you to save to the SD by default? If so, the SD card might be corrupt.

The app does allow me to save to my SD card by default, however, it is not set up this way. I also went ahead and did a trial run and followed the same steps I just did and then it worked. But Still could not find my original file that was missing.

Are you using the stock file manager app to look for it? Make sure you're looking in specific directories, and not just a general category (like "Documents").

I am looking under the QuickMemo+ folder, however, none of my other document for that app are found there. But, I can still look them up from opening the app.

Are there any files in that folder? Does it have any subfolders?
