I am NOT happy with this upgrade

I can not do abbreviations anymore. this is something i liked with this phone. now all gone on my Samsung Galaxy S7. Please fix this

I suggest you contact Samsung customer service to ask for the feature enhancement. Nobody here can enact changes to your device. You could also see if you can install a 3rd-party keyboard to give you the functionality you seek.

Also, you are not alone in not liking the update. I have personally replied to at least a dozen threads similarly titled and related to the same device model.
