Ainol novo 9 spark won't turn on

Hello guys,
I have novo 9 spark and it was kept dead for about 8 months. I took it out and plugged in a healthy charger. But the wrong started when I accidently plugged a 15 volt charger instead of the standard 5 volt one. It smelled as if something had burned but I took it out just after half a second. It is still dead. What shall I do please help.

Welcome to Android Central! It doesn't take long for a circuit to get fried. The charging port or battery might have died. Bring it to a repair shop.
