pixel c tablet random bluetooth disconnect between tablet & keyboard

My pixel c tablet randomly disconnects bluetooth from tablet & keyboard. It does not unpair the bluetooth connection between the tablet and the keyboard but disconnects the two and needs to be reconnected. This has occurred with 7.1.1 and I have recently updated to the OTA 7.1.2 hoping that the bluetooth connectivity issue would be resolved. NO SUCH LUCK. Has anyone had any success with the new update in correcting this issue or/is there a troubleshoot/workaround which will prevent the bluetooth from randomly disconnecting? Welcome to Android Central! Does this only happen when you're connected to wi-fi in a specific location, like your home? If so, try logging into your router's settings and change the wi-fi channel. It's possible that the channel you're using might be interfering with the Bluetooth connection, since they both use 2.4 GHz.
