Ordering a Galaxy C9 Pro to use on T-Mobile?

Bad idea?

I'm going to use T-Mobile and I need a new phone. I was going to get a used s6 so it wouldn't explode and then get an s8 when it was available through T-Mobile.

I found the c9 pro instead. It's nice and big and awesome but seemed too cheap.

So I read around a bit and saw it's not made for US but can work here. I found several links explaining how to do it. I do not understand it myself at all.

Am I asking for problems?
