I have stupidly installed the new update on my Samsung S7 which of course is awful.

However now when I swipe down for the notification bar the phone goes into standby. When I change the volume when I am watching a video it goes into standby and when I'm in standby I can't get the PIN pad up whilst swiping to turn the phone back on (I have to select phone or camera from shortcut)

Does anyone else have these issues or know how to resolve them?

Good morning and welcome to Android Central. I share your pain. I have an S6 Edge+ on Verizon. I installed the 7.0 update a few days ago. I'm having touch issues after the update. It can take 2 or 3 taps on an icon to get a response and swiping the notification bar can take up to 5 swipes. I'm hoping the carrier is aware and working on a patch. I plan on calling Verizon to voice my frustration.

It's not so much of a case of getting used to it, my phone is almost unusable I that it keeps going into standby for no reason. Wasn't sure if anyone had the same problem and had a fix.
