How can i figure out the original carrier for a Samsung Galaxy J7 (Sm J700H)

I'm trying to help a friend here, she says she bought the device in Trinidad where we live from a Digicel dealer but yet it says the network is locked even to Digicel sims. In addition, most remote unlock devices seem to not be able to provide an unlock service for the device. Can anyone be of assistance??
