Why does my wife's phone discharge so quickly?

I charge two batteries on wall charger. Put both fresh batteries in our phones. Check battery and my s5 says estimated usage time 40h, my wife's identical phone only says 11h 40m. I switch batteries between the two phones and still get the same results. Why does my wife's phone show so much less usage time?

Welcome to Android Central! It doesn't have to do with the battery -- that estimate is based the recent usage patterns on that phone. Your wife probably uses her phone more often during a given day, or uses more power-intensive apps, so on average, her phone's system as noted battery life to be about 12 hours, compared to yours.
