I would like to change the picture of some widgets -- I could do that on my LG G2, but can't figure out how to do on the LG G5

Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by "picture of some widgets"? Are you talking about changing how the app icons look, or actual widgets? You can only change a widget's appearance if that widget (or the app it's based on) has that as an option in its settings.

Thanks! I'm referring to how the actual apps look on my homescreen. I would like to change some of them to include pictures from my gallery of pics that are on my phone instead of an Amazon logo for example
