Why doesn't my Moto 360 25dv connect to my samsung S8 plus

[AC Question]

I performed a factory reset. Bluetooth on the phone sees the watch. I uninstalled and reinstalled anroid wear and connect. Connect does not see the phone.

Same problem here. They'll find each other and I got the watch to open the connect app once but then it stops and doesn't show its paired on the watch anymore.
