I want to unlock my phone, but the contract is still active.

Okay. So I bought a Xperia Z5 Compect for free for postpaid from carrier provider, Orange from Dominican Republic. And then 5 days later, I moved back to Canada. And I want to unlock my phone throu the website. My question is: Is it possible to unlock my phone through a website even if I have contract from DR?

What does it say on the orange site? Usually the carrier won't unlock it while you are under contract. Have to have the phone paid off/be out of contract for them to unlock it. Why not just return it and get a carrier in canada?
