What to do when my Samsung phone alarm is not ringing?

I set my alarm details but it doesn't ring. But all the details are filled correctly and the volume is also high up. What do I do to solve this issue? I didnt have any problem before. It started a month ago. Can somebody please help me out? My grandmother has to eat her medicines on time so its important that the alarm is set properly.. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! Which Samsung phone? Are you certain the Alarm volume is turned up? The Alarm volume is separate from the Ringtones/Notifications volume and the Media volume. Go to Settings>Sound​ and look at the volume sliders there.
