How can I get my LG G4 to wake up?

I have an LG G4 that is just two years old. It will not wake up. There is a green light illuminated at the top left I get no response when I depress the on/off button on the back. What to do?

You can try holding vol+ and power for about 8-10 seconds and it should reboot, if it was just locked up that should take care of it.
