Why does my phone take so,dang long to charge?

So this is a very new phone have had it only about 2 weeks. And ever since ive had it, it charges extremelyyy slow, sometimes,it says it will take 12-14 hours to charge while my friends phone goes from 12% to 80% in 40 mins. I have used all diferent kinds if cables including my friends. Its the lg k20 v and I love the phone bit the charging time is just ridiculous.. Please help?

Assuming that you've tried a different charger, the device may be faulty.

Thanks, how,would you recomend I go about fixing it??? Like would I have to pay orr??

Well, I was thinking bad USB port or bad battery, or something else internal. Since the phone is almost new, it would be warranty-covered by the manufacturer. So would the battery in fact. So you shouldn't have to pay. You may also have the right to just return it to the retailer for a refund or replacement.
With any luck, it may just be a bit of fluff in the USB port, but that would have to be extremely lucky.
