Welcome to Android Central! What do you mean by slow? Does the screen's touch sensitivity seem too low? Do you have a screen protector on?

Avoid any 3rd party app that claims to calibrate your touchscreen. Modern capacitative touchscreens don't require calibration, at least not for touch location. Some phones have settings that allow you to adjust the touch sensitivity.
